PROJECT INFORMATION

Platinum Electricians was engaged to upgrade the electrical infrastructure at the Banga Community Shed to support the growing demands of the facility. This project included the installation of a new Main Switchboard (MSB), the replacement of mains, and ensuring compliance with current safety and operational standards. The project was completed with a focus on minimising disruption to the community and ensuring a seamless transition to the upgraded system.

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Conducted a one-week data logging to determine the maximum demand of the existing MSB.
  • Submitted a load application to Ausgrid for additional power requirements.
  • Supplied and installed a new 2000A MSB along with necessary infrastructure.
  • Installed fire-rated consumers mains and submains to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Managed all necessary excavation and backfill works.
  • Completed meter exchange and coordinated mandatory inspections.
  • Provided detailed documentation upon project completion.
