The project involved concrete cutting and trenching through the main village car park for the installation of the generator submains. Traffic management and pedestrian management was required for the duration of the project, as well as close coordination with village staff to ensure minimal impact to the operations of the site.
A 16 hour shutdown was required to safely cut over to the new main switchboard. Temporary power was set up for the duration of the shutdown to maintain power to all critical equipment, as well as lighting for the residents safety.

Project completed on time and on budget
Successful installation of the back up generator to now supply temporary power to the village in the event of a power outage
