PROJECT INFORMATION

Platinum Electricians were awarded the contract to upgrade all external lighting poles throughout St Leonards Park, including the installation of new pits and underground cabling, trenching, under boring, and non-destructive digging.

The team worked in closely with the council representatives, project managers and arborists to deliver a complex project within the grounds of an operating park, working around public events and pedestrians.

Dilapidation Report completed of the entire park
Development of WHSMP
Development of Environmental Plan
Underground cabling replacement
Installation of underground conduits
Decommissioning and demolition of existing lighting poles
Coordination with lighting engineers to create an efficient design and increase lux in external areas

Electrical pit installations
Coordination with arborists for protection of existing heritage trees and tree roots throughout the park
Installation of power poles to supply temporary power for events
Installation of 40 x 6m poles and led fixtures to match the existing heritage poles
Reinstatement of all services
