PROJECT INFORMATION

The project aimed to enhance energy monitoring and management for various tenants through the installation of advanced smart metering solutions across multiple sites. The main challenge was coordinating tenant shutdowns and conducting installations outside of normal working hours to minimise disruption.

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Installation of  Wattwatcher Auditor 3RM Smart Meter.
  • Installation of 3 x 3000A Rogowski coil CT at each tenant's point of supply downstream of the supply authority current transformers.
  • Commissioning of the meters.
  • Coordination of a tenant shutdown for each meter installation.
  • Undertake outage outside of normal working hours.
  • Supply and installation of an enclosure to house the meters.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS

Overall, the project was completed with minimal disruption to tenant operations, enhancing energy monitoring capabilities and providing detailed energy consumption data for more efficient management and cost-saving opportunities. The tenants and site management teams expressed satisfaction with the project's execution and the performance of the new smart metering systems.
